Hello VJ'ers! My hubby and I filed our AOS application early November, have completed biometrics, etc. and still no GC! We were notified early December that our case was transferred to CSC so I assume that means no interview? Wanted to hear from anyone else in the same boat. We are wondering how much longer we will have to wait. I am shocked that the AOS is taking longer than the NOA2 from the I-129F! Ridiculous! What info do they need to process now? Hasn't it already been done over and over again! Sorry but we are losing our minds at this point! Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

We were transferred and not interviewed for AOS. If they want to interview you, they will send it to your local office. It still took months. And now, we wait on ROC which is taking nearly 10 months. Or longer.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I know your feeling. I was there once. You will see on my timeline that I filed November too and transferred my case to CSC early December. I received the approval of my GC last April 23. For sure, you will hear from yours very soon. It is coming so hang in there.

We sent late November, transferred mid December and still waiting. The wait is getting a bit long on this thing. I have heard of some cases being transferred then bounced back to the local for an interview, but it seems like a rare case.

Where does it show an expiration date for Adjusting Status? Ours just shows its "Initial Review" with the standard don't call us we'll call you letter.

We filed Oct 29th and got Transfered at the end of November. Absolutley no word from the USCIS of the AOS nothing . Not even an RFE at this point we would be happy wih that aleast then we know some one is working on it. I've tried calling nothing but a waste of time. They won't even put in a service request even though we are out side of the normal processing time! :girlwerewolf2xn:

Filed on Nov1, transferred to CSC on Nov 23. USCIS customer service recordings state to wait 180 days for processing before making any inquiry. I am still waiting, at least now I know that I am not the only one, hope CSC fullfill their goal date.

Received notice today that my case was transferred to CSC and was hoping for good news but it does not seem to be so. Anyone got their GC after the switch? How long? Let me know. unsure.gif

For what I undertand you will have to allow 180 days ( six months) for them to process. That sucks because transference was supposed to speed up things not to extend the wait time.

the expiration date doesn't have to do anything with the initial review status. the date was meant for internal use according to customer service. we just called a week ago and that's what they said.
