I put my entire AOS package through the Chicago lockbox (send Feb 10th) with an IL address but then updated to a CA address as soon as we signed our lease. Our biometrics were scheduled in IL but we ended up being able to do the biometrics as a walk-in in CA.

We applied mid-Feb and our interview is this afternoon. Extremely fast compared to some of the stories I've heard.

well, that's AOS, not an I-130 filed for a CR-1 visa.

What's up?

I did a search today and it looks like a couple people from first week of December are starting to get their NOA2 --- wooo hooo!!

Please bear in mind that EACH service center has different queues and queue times for each visa type. The queue for I-130 isn't the same queue as the I-129F, at all. It may seem so, over time, but it's not.

Queues abound, thoughout this process, at each step, regardless of the petition type, visa type.

Understanding queues is important, sometimes. Many folk get the petition approval without studying queues, it's simply not required to know about them, but...

It's erroneous to say or think that it's all the same speed for all petition types at a service center.

I'm not knocking ya, hey any movement is a plus, aye?
