Mom and Dad co-sponsor?

I am having a tough time trying to fill out this form. Here is my situation, I am hoping someone can help me out. My husband is the principal immigrant. My Dad is going to co-sponsor him since I do not make enough. However, my parents file joint taxes.

Do I have to list my mom's income in the household income as well and have her fill out an I-864A?

Under houshold size for my dad's I-864 their household is currently just him and my mom and then we added my husband (immigrant) do me and my son have to be included in the household size as well even though we are US citizens?

Last thing...does anyone know if there is a place/phone number where you can get help with this form? I think it might kill me!

If your dad qualifies on his own he doesn't have to include your mom's income.

You and your son are not included in the household size unless he supports you.

If you find yourself with questions you can't get answered here you can call USCIS customer service, but if you do you should ask to speak to a tier 2 person (aka an immigration officer) as the people who answer the phone are call center employees and are known to give inaccurate info.

That totally makes sense BUT my parents file joint tax returns so how am I supposed to separate my dads income out from my moms?

You send in the tax transcript for the joint filing, and include your father's W-2. List his income amount from his W-2 that shows how much he made on his own.

This. On their tax return, each individual's income will be listed in the first few lines. You go off of that.
