Medical after the interview?

Timeline

We got our interview expedited, but there wasn't availability with any of the listed doctors until today and it will take 6 working days for the results to come out, which means they won't be ready by the time we have our interview... What should we do?

Interview date: May 2nd

Expected medical results pick-up: May 3rd

Will we get denied if we don't have the results by the interview day? =(

Jan 5, 2012: Mailed I-129F

Jan 7, 2012: Received

Jan 10, 2012: Text and e-mail confirmation received

Jan 14, 2012: NOA1 received in the mail

Mar 29, 2012: Expedite request made

Apr 5, 2012: Expedite request approved

Apr 6, 2012: I-129F approved!

Apr 11, 2012: NVC received

Timeline

They'll proceed with the interview and ask you to drop off the medical results when they're ready. If all goes well, they'll process the visa after receiving the medical packet. This has happened before, so the consular section knows how to handle it. Just let them know when you visit the first paperwork window on the day of the interview...
