I did my biometrics April 17th and on April 18th I received two emails. One saying that the EAD Card was sent for production and one saying the Travel Document was approved and a notice was mailed. Today, April 23rd I received another email saying that the EAD Card was sent for production, yet again. Now I am confused... ?? Did this happen to anyone else?

AP is not a card, it's just a piece of paper.

Not anymore. The EAD and AP will usually come together in a combo card. The EAD will be marked with “Serves as I-512 Advance Parole.”

I never thought of that.. I hope so! Wonder why AP doesn't say card production... they usually come together right?

Several people have stated that the AP status never changed, but they received their EAD/AP combo card just fine.

Another update today saying the EAD card was mailed. Still no change in AP.

Not anymore. The EAD and AP will usually come together in a combo card. The EAD will be marked with “Serves as I-512 Advance Parole.”

Several people have stated that the AP status never changed, but they received their EAD/AP combo card just fine.

I think they just update the EAD and do not bother with the AP updates because they come together in the combo card.

I hope you hear something soon. It usually takes about a month. Not sure why mine went so quickly. When I had my biometrics done in Norfolk, VA there was nobody else there except me and two workers. I was in and out in ten minutes.
