pls i need urgent advice

i have my second interview after being asked to bring a new co sponsor but my co sponsor just gust game me his job letter , 2005,2003and 2002 tax forms and the afidavite of support and said he mispalced the 2004 1040 and he cant also call and get me the w2s and my interview is 26th of this month , pls should i go for the interview or just call off the interview and reschdule and get another sponsor or what ? pls i really need good advice abt this . thank u

I suggest your cosposor go to the local IRS office and get transcripts of the missing tax return. Call the locak office, and make sure that if he shows up in person he can get the trascripts. Explain the urgency of the matter.

You can call and they will mail the transcripts. I did that and it only took about 5 days to get it. On the other hand can you mail it in time to your SO?

If it doesn't get there in time then you should still attend the interview. Its always possible that they won't even ask for it, but if they do they will give them the 221g letter requesting more information. It is better that way than to try to reschedule.
