This is how we did it and it worked;I entered myself and my son-the application's beneficiaries in the line 10 and I did not enter us anywhere else after that,as that would have resulted in second entry for the same persons.

a. Enter the number you entered on line 10.

Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit:

b.Yourself 1

c.If you are currently married, enter 1 for your spouse 0(if you put 1 it will be a double entry so 0 will do, because the US Citizen is the sponsor so he counts as "persons Not sponsored in this affidavit")

d.If you have dependent children, enter the number here 1 (it was in my case but my son is living with us),in your case I am not sure, since he is not living with you.I do not know if they would consider him as your dependent too.Maybe someone else here can help you more.

Good luck!

You MUST include your son whether he lives with you or not. It is stated on the Instructions. It's not about living arrangements; it's about him being a minor and your dependent. He has not reached the year of majority and should be included. All the best.

Revisit the instructions about household size. That information is there.

Agreed. The son counts.
