Hello, just joined this today, I had a question about after the 2nd Notice of Action(approved petition). It says that it's been forwarded to the listed consulate. Ok, now should i be expecting something else in the mail? Or will they just send instructions to my fiance in Mexico? Also, i'm, sorry, dunno if this is the correct topic or not, but for the I-134 affidavit, i don't have enough, financially, at the moment , but my dad is going to sponsor him. Like, in 2011 i made only near 3k, because i was in mexico for almost half a year with him(my fiance). Do i fill out an I-134 and also one for my dad, or just one from him? I keep looking online everywhere but I have yet to find a definitive answer  Thanks all for any helpful insight :)

About the I-134: http://www.visajourney.com/content/support

"The US fiance is ALWAYS the primary sponsor, but may have a co-sponsor. If there is a co-sponsor, both the

US fiance and the co-sponsor will EACH have to fill out the affidavit I-134 or I-864 and EACH will have to provide

supporting documentation."

Your case will actually be transferred to the NVC before going to the consulate, which usually add a few weeks in the process. NVC will assigned a case number to your case (you will receive a letter from NVC normally, but people stated that they never received this letter...). If you have questions at the Embassy stage, members from Mexico will be able to assist you best, because at this point, the instructions are country-specific. :)

You can call the NVC to see if it has arrived in Juarez. You need to get your CDJ case #, invoice # and beneficiary ID # from the NVC before you can fill out the DS-260: 603-334-0700

Juarez will send the USC and the beneficiary in Mexico a letter. Sometimes the letter does not reach the person in Mexico because of the crappy mail system there. If the only one that receives it is the USC, it can be mailed or scanned and emailed and printed out by the beneficiary in Mexico. It does not have to be the original.

The letter you receive points you to the sites where the instructions, forms and place to schedule your appointment and interview is. The letter is the only 'packet' you will receive. You should go to the links listed in the letter. The letter will be needed by the K-1 applicant at their ASC, medical and interview in Juarez, along with the confirmation page from the DS-260.

Here are the forms: http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/fianceforms.html , instructions (very important to follow and they explain a lot): http://photos.state.gov/libraries/ciudadjuarez/231771/PDFs/packetk10412.pdf , and CDJ info: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Mexico&cty=Juarez

You and your father will each fill out your own I-134. You will each need to provide a letter from employer, latest tax transcript and a few months worth of your most recent pay stubs. The co-sponsor also needs to provide proof of being a USC or LPR with a copy of their birth certificate, naturalization, bio page of their US passport or front and back copy of their green card. You can check the example form here on VJ for filling it out: http://www.visajourney.com/examples/Form-I-134.pdf

K-1 petitions are sent to Juarez consulate only.

There is no other consulate in all of Mexico that deals with K-1 visas other than Juarez.
