Nope nothing new, and i dont think something will happen because i met a person of pd January 30 2011 and haven't received her NOA2 Yet in Vermont, in matter of fact i think this process will take longer than expected because its weird how Vermont is not paying attention to our cases, and also the vb now started to go slowly like if they knew our PD Wont be current in a while, i dont know what to do anymore...... Its hard to pay attention to other things in life when you dont have you family along you, especially when you have a 2 year old daughter growing far from you.

jrh39, any news? Your 14 days are almost up, right?

Jrh,

Yes, things are slow at Vermont. However, as long as the cut-off dates keep moving forward in the monthly visa bulletins, you should be optimistic. There is a silver lining to every dark cloud. Be brave! :)

I hope our respective families join us soon.

Anil

Just spoke the USCIS Customer Service Center. Vermont Service Center is still processing F2A applications on or before Jan 23, 2011.

I've been asked to wait until a visa number is available. Hope the May and June bulletins move by at least 4 weeks, if not more.

Bah, this frustration is not easy to quell!

Just to give you guys an update, i called to USCIS as well, and the new supervisor i spoke today she seemed not even to care about our frustration, she said no body can guaranteed me an exact date of the approval and as for now they cant open a service request (even though i told her the other supervise told me about it) because they still under normal processing time, and that's when i asked, what about if my priority becomes current before even getting my NOA2, And she told me that that's when we have the right to open a service request can calling us...... :crying:

So i give up, just going to wait my time and forget about it.... Or just probably quit my job and go to dominican republic and relax while this process ends...... i really cant take this anymore.

I got same response as well....it seems that that's what is coming for us.

Anil and jrh39, thanks for the updates. I really hope you'll have better news soon!

I keep watching Igor's list, and it seems that the VSC is finally catching up with processing IR/CR cases filed before 15 August 2012. Since cases filed thereafter were transferred to the NBC, I am hoping that once USCIS has cleared the IR backlog they've had for the past months, they might have some resources to work on F2A cases again.

Best of luck to you both and keep us updated!

My F2A/IR-1 journey:

USCIS:
4 August 2011: I-130 sent (while husband permanent resident)
8 August 2011: Priority date

20 May 2013: IV bill received and paid

21 May 2013: IV package sent

11 June 2013: response to IV checklist sent

13 June 2013: Case upgraded to CR1

2 July 2013: Case completed

28 August 2013: Interview - approved!

09/09/2009 met and had been happily dating for almost a year when my husband (bf at that time) won in a green card lottery. By that time he divorced from his ex-wife, and I graduated from the university and had obligatory job placement in Belarus for 2 years on.
11/19/2010 got married. In about a month he left for the US and applied for family reunification.
03/24/2011 Priority Date
04/08/2013 NOA2

06/14/2013 Case Completed
