I-751 May 2012 Filers

Sooo! I just checked online the processing times. It states that they are currently processing the 05/22/2012 fillers, so I decided to call the USCIS customer service line and the first person says my case (filed on may 15, 2012) is, indeed, out of the processing timeframe, therefore she decides she is transferring me to an officer -after waiting for almost an hour on the phone- the officer tells me that what the USCIS website mean, by saying the processing time is 05/22/2012 is that they are actually working "on or around" those dates. That the processing can take up to a year and that if -when it's 11 months from the date we filled- and we haven't received our green card, we should then call again!!!!!

Hope this info is useful to any of you. I can't begin to tell you how frustrated I am at this point.

Sorry abt the delay. Hopefully you will get it soon. The other option is to get a stamp of extension in your passport. Not sure how early you can do that. Maybe the others can weigh in.
