I called USCIS 3 days ago, the first time I called they told me to wait 2 weeks ans that I will receive something on the mail. I called again 3 weeks after and they told me that they were working on May 22 filers and that I have to wait 30 more days!... I feel that the agents just tell you whatever just to get you out of the phone and they dont even know whats going on with our case. It is frustating because i noticed that june filers are already getting their approvals... Hope we heard something from them soon :(

I know exactly what you mean!! What bothers me, seriously, is the fact that -and I don't mean this on a disrespectful way- but we are paying for a service that is not the best out there... I really hope they catch up and just approve everyone. Maybe they're just waiting on the VSC. Who knows!!! Nobody can say for sure why or how they do the things they do! :(

I think you can call the USCIS number and select the option that says "there is a problem with your application" and when they come on the line, give them the your NOA receipt number and they will state the same thing on the website. Then I think you can tell them to have the adjudicating office contact you regarding why yours is outside the processing time and I think they will get in touch with you. This is what I have done int he past. I agree that this is very operator dependent and you may get a non helpful person on the line in which case just try on another day.

To all the forum users. Does anyone know whether there is any way to keep working if the time taken to adjudicate your case crosses the one year mark? I dont suppose that just applying for citizenship would take care of that? I would hate to stop working once the extension deadline passes?

If the extension is up then you can ask for an I-551 stamp. You can also apply for citizenship on your normal timeline. You don't have to interrupt your life at all for this.

We got my wife's Lifting of Conditions approved in around 7 months with NO interview

(a good case for making your case very strong at the temporary GC interview as we did)

on 10 January 2013. Timeline has been updated.

As of now, they are processing up to March 5, 2012 at the Vermont center where we applied.

Do a Google search on "uscis processing time information Vermont service center" and replace Vermont with the state of your center in order to find your information.

Does anyone know whether they are still processing applications from May 22 or have they moved beyond that?

I was concerned when more than 3 months had passed since her application

so I contacted USCIS and they gave me this link over the phone. I was sure

we were going to get called for an interview but since we weren't the fact that

so much time had passed actually meant nothing regarding the outcome

(approval with no interview).
