Hi,

I am a new member of this forum. My Conditional Green Card expiration date is 07/31/2012.

I sent my I-751 on Wednesday May 02,2012 by USPS priority mail and it was received on Friday May 04,2012. I am still waiting for NOA and check cashed as there is no progress as yet. I sent my package to CSC as I am from Chicago, IL. Kindly let me know for how long I need to wait for the next step. Regards, S Umer (wife of a US Citizen)

I would look at the timelines of similar filers during the previous months for CSC to see when they received thier NOA1

The CSC looks to have hit some kind of slow down. Half the April filers and all the May filers are still yet to receive NOAs. It took them almost 2 weeks to cash my check.

Hmmm - I'm getting ready to send in for my husband's ROC (GC expires 06/23/12) - but a lot of things like the title to our home and proof of joint residence was sent in our original application - do I need to actually re-send all that stuff? This is what I have so far...

  • Signed copy of I-751 application by both of us
  • Check of $590.00 for both filing and biometrics fee
  • Copy of his GC (Front and back)
  • Joint tax returns(Years: 2010 & 2011)
  • Copy of Life insurance with us listed as beneficiaries
  • Various photo's of the two of us over the last 2 years
  • Joint Checking & Savings account for past 18 months
  • Affidavits from friends and family

They are looking for financial ties, send everything that shows that, have any joint utility bills? even if you have sent it before, send it again :)

It would appear that the filers at VSC are getting processed ROC faster than CSC which appears to have much slower processing times. Yuck!

VSC is currently processing I-751 from July '11

CSC is currently processing I-751 from November '11

VSC is currently processing I-751 from July '11

Really? What's your source?

At the moment based on NOAs being received. CSC does seem to be getting them out slower. I guess that doesn't mean they're processing the I-751s slower though.

Just looking at the timeline that was established for both CSC and VSC, no one who has sent in a ROC has received their first NOA while most of those filing at VSC have.....strange. I saw some post earlier in the day where someone filing at CSC stated that it took a long time to cash their check which could mean a long processing time. I work for the goverment and that's the first thing we do is cash the check.

Oh, okay. Sending NOA1 yes, processing applications no.

Sent the package on May 3rd, arrived on May 5th and the check was cashed today, May 14th. That took quite a while....

My GC expires July 26th

5/20/10 - I-130/I-485/I-765 sent USPS Express mail
5/21/10 - Received at Chicago Lockbox
5/26/10 - Checks cashed
5/28/10 - Received hardcopy NOAs of all three petitions/applications
6/05/10 - Received biometrics letter for both I-765 and 1-485 for 6/28/10 dated 5/31/10
6/07/10 - Walk in biometrics attempt unsuccessful (told to come back the next day)
6/08/10 - Walk in biometrics successfully completed
6/25/10 - Interview appointment notification received for 7/26/10
7/26/10 - Interview at the Columbus, OH office. Application approved!
7/30/10 - Received "Welcome" letter
8/04/10 - Received Green Card

Hi Everyone and Fellow Filers!

I just sent my I-751 package today. My GC expires on June 20, 2012... Does anybody know if USCIS sends you a letter confirming your ROC application is on going? I am asking because my driver's license expires on the date my GC expires, as well as my other pertinent papers, which covers work authorization and the likes. Obviously, the card production won't be until about few months or so. I am curious as to how does that work.
