I feel your pain. Just want to share my story which might make you feel a little better. I sent out my application on May14 and was received May15. I finally got my NOA1 on June 5. Then I started waiting and waiting and nothing showed up in mail since, and meanwhile a lot of people on the forum who sent in application at the same time got their biometric appointment. I got anxious and called USCIS at the end of June. But they refused to give me any information since "it hasn't been 30 days yet since you heard from us". I called last Friday again and this time I told them it has been 30 days, so the woman told me that they are going to re-send the biometrics letter and I should received it within 15 days. Guess what, that same evening I saw the mail that they sent out. It was dated June 25th, but the post-office had messed up my mail forwarding (I moved since I sent out my application), so it took a long time for the mail to reach me. My field office is Detroit. And my biometric appointment is July 20th (Thank goodness I didn't miss it because of the mail problem).

What I want to say is that since your receipt date is May 31, it might be normal that you haven't heard from them yet, since the time between my receipt and the biometric date is pretty long (May 15th to July 20, more than two months). However, if you are really anxious, you can give the a call, and just tell them that it has been 30 days since you received your NOA1, so they will check for you. Good luck!

We sent out I-751 on 5/25 and received NOA on 6/12 (Receipt Date 5/31). But we have not heard anything since then about the biometric appoint and were getting a bit anxious... Wondering if anyone having Chicago ASC received an biometric appointment? Should I call to inquire about whether an appointment has been made at the local ASC? We are leaving for a trip in August so we really want to get the biometric done before then.

Finally got my biometric appointment notice! It's July 20th. It is more than two months since they received my application. Is it because Detroit field office is piled up?

I haven't been around as we have been quite busy. But, I wanted to pass along some information. We tried to do an early walk-in for biometrics but they wouldn't let us through. We went back at the scheduled time and once his number was called, the appointment was so quick. So now we wait...

Hi Vanessa, looks like we both did the biometrics in Phoenix on the same day. My appt was for 3pm but got in a little earlier. I had tried to get an early biometrics appointment when I went in for the I 551 stamp on June 18th but was told it was Monday and a busy day; so I waited until my scheduled appointment. It probably really varies but they likely aren't too keen on having early walk ins...

Thank you so much for the response, but still no news about the biometric.

I just called the USCIS to inquire about the biometric appointment and finally got through to the immigration officer after 30mins of wait time. Unfortunately, she told me that my husband needs to be presented beside me since we both signed the I-751 form, and she needs to get permission from him in order to tell me whether the biometric letter has been sent out. This is too bad. Guess I will have to call again tomorrow if we don't receive NOA2 today...

I feel your pain. Just want to share my story which might make you feel a little better. I sent out my application on May14 and was received May15. I finally got my NOA1 on June 5. Then I started waiting and waiting and nothing showed up in mail since, and meanwhile a lot of people on the forum who sent in application at the same time got their biometric appointment. I got anxious and called USCIS at the end of June. But they refused to give me any information since "it hasn't been 30 days yet since you heard from us". I called last Friday again and this time I told them it has been 30 days, so the woman told me that they are going to re-send the biometrics letter and I should received it within 15 days. Guess what, that same evening I saw the mail that they sent out. It was dated June 25th, but the post-office had messed up my mail forwarding (I moved since I sent out my application), so it took a long time for the mail to reach me. My field office is Detroit. And my biometric appointment is July 20th (Thank goodness I didn't miss it because of the mail problem).

What I want to say is that since your receipt date is May 31, it might be normal that you haven't heard from them yet, since the time between my receipt and the biometric date is pretty long (May 15th to July 20, more than two months). However, if you are really anxious, you can give the a call, and just tell them that it has been 30 days since you received your NOA1, so they will check for you. Good luck!

yikes! i hope they will hurry up! i keep checking january and february filers threads and it looks like they started approving february filers.
