Hey!

I just chose to do it that way because I'm gonna be in Ecuador and I wasn't going to be able to make it to my appointment, and I just asked if I could do it, and they let me do it.

Whenever you go, get your passport stamped FIRST and as soon as the give it back, ask if they would take your biometrics early (they probably will) .

Good luck and TAKE IT EASY.....

Oh! And obviously, that cancels the original appointment...unless you wanna go a second round...lol!

Ok! I almost forgot! Hete's what I took with me:

-Printed info - pass

-Passport

-A copy of the package we sent (with the cashed check copy)

-The original of the Bio-metrics appointment NOA

-A copy of the bio - NOA

-Two forms of ID (my DL and Green Card)

A good, positive attitude also

Hey Binow, is this the S 16th address for the infopass? That's the address I have for biometrics. My green card expires mid August, so I hope if they stamp mine soon it's the year not simply six months or I might as well wait for the stamp and get it early August etc. Again, instead of all this horsecrap they SHOULD ISSUE A FRIGGN NOA for those of us not in receipt of one....anyone know what that rationale is for not issuing one if not received?

You don't need to cancel the original biometrics schedule if you have yours done earlier. Just don't worry about showing up on the original date since they already have your bio records taken.

Yours wont expire until in two months, you still have all the time to wait for the NOA. Mine expires this month so I needed to asked for extension and tried asking for early biometrics as well in which they granted.

Just got off the phone with USCIS representative. I can not believe, but CSC haven't even sent my NOA1 yet! I submitted my file May 11, they cashed chec June 6. My GC expires June 22 and my employer wants to see letter... Rep said I shouldn't worry, because cashing check shows that everything is in progress. He gave me case numbers and told me to be patient. Easy to say

Another good day today.

Our originally scheduled biometrics was July 5th, but we walked in today and got them completed. From talking with the officer, they say that the decision to accept early walk-ins depends upon how busy they are for the day and how many inspectors are scheduled to work that day.

So what works for one person one day, will not necessarily work for another.
