Hi All,

Just wanted to update you that I had my Biometrics Appointment today at 1:00pm Central at Chicago, N. Broadway St. It went really smooth and quick. I reached there at 12:40pm and the receptionist asked me for my ID (I gave my driver license) and the appointment letter. Then she asked me to turn off my cell phones and gave me a form to fill in. I filled in the form and she gave me a number to be called. As soon as I sat on the waiting seats, my number was called and it just took less than 10 mins to have my finger printing and picture. I was done even before 1:00pm Central :) They didnt ask for or check my conditional Green Card.

I hope i get my 10 years green card soon, Insha Allah. All the best to all.....Regards, S. Umer

Hi Yurika, I am getting so stressed , its been a month now since we sent all documents and checks into VCS , it was a bit early as GC expires 19 Sept , but they have not cashed the checks yet and still no NOA , What do I do , should I be concerned ?? Thank you.

You sent your package waay to early. You cannot send it more than 90 days in advance. It will be (it probably has been) rejected.

ETA: It says you sent in May 19... that is not a month ago... ?

Hi Everyone,

I'm starting to get a little antsy...... I've sent the petition for removal of conditions almost a month ago....No check has been cashed as of yet. Should I start panicking already...Is there any way that I can find out what exactly is happening. I phone number to contact.

My husbands permit has expired. I'm in a lot of stress right now, going crazy just checking my bank account to see if the check has been cashed. Anyone's advice is greatly appreciated, I know most of us are on the same boat :(

I'm worried?... Most folks have quick cash checking and response..... We haven't.

Our package arrived on 23 May. Any thoughts?

I feel exactly the same way....I'm wondering if anyone knows a phone number to contact or if there is anything that can be done on our side beside worrying.

Ok , now i am in tears :( I have not received package back , my address still same as when I arrived in USA , I can try call them tomorrow , why would they not let us re-submit if I never got package back from them ??? thank you for help .

I think you meant your GC expires on 19 Aug...

My guess is... They already send your package back long time ago (USCIS is very strict with 90 day opening date) and you didn't get it...

I don't know if you can just resubmit now or not though... You need to call USCIS again?

0Got our biometrics appt letter today for 7/5/12. :-) No NOA yet though. :-( Anyone know, if you don't have the NOA by the time you have biometrics, can you get the stamp in your passport when you go for biometrics or do you need another appt? Thanks!

TO BE SURE, CALL THE USCIS NATIONAL SERVICE CENTER NUMBER IS

1-800-375-5283

AND ASK THEM ABOUT YOUR PACKAGE. THAT IS THE CLOSEST TO SURE WAY OF FINDING OUT WHAT HAPPENED. EVERY OPINION HERE IS JUST THEIR GUESS, until you call the USCIS, you never know what exactly is the status of your app.
