Just take whatever evidence you have....the old lease if it has both names on it and have your mother-in-law write a letter stating that you both live with her and that she is the one primarily responsible for the bills. Make sure she has the letter notarized. Collect pictures from your entire relationship, get your child's birth certificate as soon as possible, there is no bigger proof than that certificate with both names on it.

Good luck

Having a child is good. It's not enough, though. Our IO basically said, "oh, you have a kid? Well, how do I know it's his? Oh, wait, I see she looks just like him. Ok, what else do you have?" She cared, but she was VERY clear a child alone was NOT sufficient evidence.

Bring notarized statements from whoever you live with saying you both live there. Mail addressed to both of you or separately but to the same address. Lots of pictures throughout your whole relationship.
