As an LPR, you can file for your wife. It will take 2-3 years for her to get an immigration visa.

Look and read the "Guides." The button is at the top of this page.

*** Moving from K3- an obsolete visa- to Bringing Family of LPRs *****

She can apply for a tourist visa, but being from Nigeria and having a LPR husband in the USA means her chances of getting it are slim. Best idea is to file for the spousal visa asap.

To qualify for a tourist visa she must prove that she won't stay, the embassy is required to assume she will overstay. What proof can she have that she would leave her husband and return to Nigeria ? Even though a spousal visa is slow it is the only one she will get easily .

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Unfortunately, the US consulate will never give her a tourist visa. They know that once she arrives you will not want to be separated again, and you'll go talk to an immigration lawyer. That immigration lawyer will almost certainly tell you that she shouldn't leave the US, and that you'll be able to adjust her status once you become a US citizen. The consulate will consider this an absolute certainty. They will refuse to give her a tourist visa.
