and I live in Thailand. Getting her into the U.S. from Thailand is almost impossible, unless we get a fiance visa or get married and apply for a CR-1 visa. As a filipina, she can apply thru the American embassy in Manila for work in the U.S., since she knows English and I have a friend who has a company, who can write a letter stating she can work for his company as a liaison to filipinas in our city.

My question is: what should the letter contain, to whom should it be addressed, what else should we know when visiting the U.S. Embassy in Manila?

We want to spend approximately 6 months in the U.S.

I know agencies exist in the Philippines practically begging filipinas to come to the U.S. as teachers, nurses, maids.

Any advice, suggestions, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
