Hi All!!! I have a question bringing my wife's son here. He is 15 years old and can handle his own. When he comes here can there be any problems at the POE seeing that he doesn't speak much english? My thought was to write a letter and when he get's here to give it to the customs agent. In the letter I would explain that he is very limited in english and if there are any problems to call me on my cell phone. Any thoughts?

Thanks again

Thousands of people come to the USA every day that speak NO English. No, there will not be a problem. If it is a large POE, like JFK, or particularly one like Chicago with a large Polish population, there will probably be a Polish speaking CBP agent there, but it is not required at all.

I would check with the airline to make sure they're going to let him fly internationally by himself...
