$505, in March this year, LAX-IAH-LOS-IAH-LAX

Purchased ticket from Delta in January during the Subsidy brouhaha. I guess business was down. Felt like a thief as the passenger to me paid $1,499.00

My free time now is consumed with getting another deal. I miss 9ja and I miss my fiance even more.

Less than a thousand is good from the west coast. Prices are lowest from Jan-May and then mid Sept - Nov/early Dec. Higher during summer and better be sitting down at during the Christmas time. I usually compare vayama and kayak.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

I have found out the best time to fly to Niaja is in Febuary, right after the holidays when people have visited their loved ones. The prices plung down cos nobody is traveling then and everybody has gone back to work. (Delta 789.00). purchase ticket early.

What was your strategy? How can I find deals? When is the best time to plan? Thanks in advance. :)

The lowest was 1,100 with taxes from hotwire on Delta straight flight. Last Nov. I bought the tickets in Oct.

I fell you 100%. What helps me is that, hhile you're going through this process, we try to communicate much as possible via Skype and Phone. Instead of being too weak at heart, try using this time to focus on making sure you have everything prepared the best of your ability so that "with the grace of God", You both will be united soon. I'm noticing on many cases, it's been taking 5 to 7 months for K-1s. :)
