I thought the purpose of Visa Journey was to help with those things?

We are talking about time management! Your missing the underlying essential idea of the current topic.

I'm not missing ANYTHING! If you are on a self-help forum, suggesting to people they need a "professional" service - you are in the wrong place.

part of the forum expertise is in recognizing that professional help is the best option in some cases due to a variety of factors. to believe that every vj member's situation fits the cookie cutter concept of self help is seriously misinformed.

Be nice.

You are missing the point. Sometimes, a person is so lost or his/her situation is so complicated that professional help is necessary.

Also, if a person neither has the time or desire to learn the laws, then that person would benefit from professional help.

----------------

I can change the oil in my car. I don't know how to rebuild the engine. No matter how much I read or learn, I will not be able to rebuild the engine. Should I try to rebuild the engine myself or should I get professional help to do it?

I don't know what I don't know. If I guess wrong, I can destroy my car. Isn't it better to get a professional to do the work?

Sometimes self help is not a good idea.

Hi Everyone, I Just want to know the thoughts of peoples' ideas when Petitioning someone. okay..

Some people have an agent that does there paperwork/petition forms and some do it themselves. (like me)

I just want to know if the process is faster when going through an agent or it does it matter? thannx in advance !

My husband work on the paper works and its amazingly faster than we thought. Hiring a lawer just cost u more money and much longer time when they dont really bother unless u keep calling them to update ur case ( base of my friend situation)..

It didn't sound like solicitation to me.

If a person is unfamiliar or unsure, it will take them longer to determine which path to take, what documents to collect, and how to fill out the forms. A professional who does know all of this will take less time to determine which path to take, have a firm grasp of which documents are needed, and probably can skip the instructions on how to fill out the form. So, I agree the others that a professional can handle the necessary quicker.

A filer has only one case to worry about. A professional can have dozens of cases ongoing.

---------------

Suppose a person takes 40-50 hours to learn what to file, how to file it, and fill out the paperwork. Suppose a professional could do the work in 5 hours. So, it is faster for the professional to do it. However, the professional is working on 20 cases. The professional will need 100 hours to finish all the cases. The professional works out great for the first few clients because the work is completed quickly. For those clients who cases are done at the end, the overall time is longer.

There is no right or wrong on who is quicker.

Your misinformed. Yes. “there are ‘no’ secret ways to expedite the process, ( no one said anything about secret ways). But there is a faster ways that can ‘speed up’ “expedite” the process, that does not require legal help! Ling Ling: LingChe NVC Guide Using this guide may allow you to fly through NVC in as little as 11 days.

no one in this thread said that.

Of course not. No secrets. You either already know what to do or you don't. If you don't, you either learn to do it yourself or hire somebody who already knows. Learning takes time. The information needed is all right here on VJ. No secret methods unless you fail to do the study, don't want to do the study, aren't competent to do the study, have better things to do than do the study etc. or simply lack confidence in your ability to read carefully, interpret literally and respond accurately.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

I understand the desire to speed up the process, however, you should instead be focused on getting it 'right'. I hired an agent to review our initial k-1 ap and was very impressed with the speed of their service and their input/accuracy. I can tell you that I could not have done it correctly without their help. But that's just me. I learned a lot in the process and I did file my wife's AOS ap by myself - which I found to be pretty easy and it was successful.

Good luck to you both.

No he's not.

I didn't read that he suggested for anyone to have to use a pro service. The course of the conversation is time management.

I for one like to read differing opinions. Even if PushBrk is a broker, of which nothing he's written suggests that to me, then we still need folks like him on the forum to guide us.

Excellent.

Even if I can't rebuild my engine, a forum on engine rebuild will help me understand the process that my engine rebuilder is taking and to place a value on his services.
