Hi everyone, I haven't been here in a while, but I'm here to share some great news. It was a long road but we finally made it through the tunnel. My fiance had her follow-up appointment on March 26,2012, and when she went to the embassy she brought the documents they requested her to bring on are last appointment date, which was Oct 27, 2011. On that March 26th date she had every ready to go, but they told her that her medical had expired and that she needed a new. They set a return date for June 8th, 2012, and when she told me that I was furious.....and immediately contacted my Congressmens office, they email the embassy, and the embassy called my fiance two days later and told her to come back on Friday March 30, 2012 with the new medical and her visa would be ready. They took her passport on March 26th when she went, so when she went to get her new medical exam the doctor wouldn't see her, because the embassy took her passport. I called the Congressmens office again, and she was told to come back to the embassy on Friday March 30th to get her passport back, which she did. She was told to come back on April 18, 2012 instead of June 8th, which was great. I think they were trying to stall us for some reason, because they could see that she was pregnant. When I went to Ghana for her Oct 27th interview, she got pregnant, but I didn't mine because I knew she was coming back to the states with me, WRONG!..... She will be hitting her sixth month next week around the 27th, so now I'm trying to get her out of there before she has the baby. However, things look a lot better than they did. She went to embassy Wednesday and they took her new medical report, gave her a blue paper, and told her to come back on May 18th to pick-up her visa. She'll be 7 months by the end of may, and I hope I can fly her out of there, any thoughts, will it be safe?

Thanks You Guys....This was one for the history books.

God Is Great!!!!!

If she is really showing she will need a doctors note that it will be okay.

And yes you are one very tenacious and you sure have an excellent congressperson who cares. (Gosh are you in Texas)?

Well congratulations to you and your wife and blessings to you and your new upcoming baby.

Check with the airline she will be using. They should specify how far along one has to be for a doctors note to be required. Usually it is 8+ months for domestic but may be earlier for international. Even if a note isn't required, something that documents her due date/how far along she is would be prudent.
