sancruz - a photocopy of the birth certificate of your co-sponsor should be fine. You are just using it to prove her status as a USC. If you were using her passport as proof of citizenship you wouldn't send in the original.

Hope that helps.

I feel like NVC is moving so slowly although it's probably just me being inpatient. We have paid AOS fee and i sent packet yesterday overnight. We got an email on 10/5 saying the choice of agent was accepted but they still havent billed us for the application fee. I called and they said it could be another week before it gets invoiced.

I was also wondering if anyone has had any luck getting copies of money transfers from western union. I was told by their customer service to send an email which i did on Sept. 4th and i havent received anything. I have followed up by email a couple of times and the last response i got was that it would be sent through the mail within 7 days and two weeks later we still dont have anything. I just wonder if anyone else has had this problem or if anyone had luck getting copies this way. When i called and talked to someone earlier today they said they get a lot of requests like this and it could take months to get the information.

Hi everyone...just checking in with an update. I received the email on friday with my case number and instructions for online processing. So I paid the AOS fee online, and emailed the I-864. I'm just waiting for the IV fees to be invoiced so I can pay those and email the supporting documents. So things are rolling!

Good luck Jamaicagyaldat and luvwtrNamy!

Yes a copy of the packet we sent andsome more pictures showing us with her since she was a baby. I don't have another copy of her birth certificate. should probably get another one while we are down there. although I think they are supposed to give the original back at interview. My husband just sent me a message that when he took her to the medical yesterday they gave her all her shots even though she has records. Poor baby. She is so little and just got those shots a year or so ago! I can't stand that they did that to her.

When does your husband leave?
