Lucy4 - I hope the USCIS winds are blowing with your packet rather than against it and that you get an adjudicator who likes their job and is excited to reunite families :D

Krystal - Nice! One step closer :)

Jamaicagyaldat - Yay for progress!! Conquer that NVC mountain!!

Thanks, we are in Davao City now. We'll fly to the US first week of August.

They'll deliver the visa to you in Davao, right?

Have a safe flight! Enjoy the time with your daughter :)

Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and experience!

Yeah! So happy for you. It seems you have about a weeks wait until it's completed fromothers posts and then fron the only Jamaica profile that wasn't K1 and was somewhat current, it looks like6 weeks to an interview! Almost there!!

Thank you! Yeah! So i waz getting ready to mail Iv package..i noticed my daughters police certifícate was signed by them then theres a line that says signature of person named. Do you think she should sign it? There is 2 of them stapled n 2nd one was carboned so if she signs it the 2 nd one wont copy through...i dont know if i should have her sign or leave it.

Oh i don't know what to tell you for that one. We only had a police report for my husbnd when he went through his process and I don't even remember seeing it! LOL it's probably specific to Jamaica too. Best to ask in the carribean forum and see if someone from Jamaica has experience with it. We got the BC today. Looks almost exactlythe same as the first one. Grrr. Trying to scan it to send out fortranslation now. Have a great day.

Congrats!

 <- a little dance just for you :)

Thank you!!! Well I called NVC and they said the I-864 package was good and no further evidence needed! YEAH! So he said i should receive that email tomorrow and since I already paid the IV fee that I was good to go until next week when they receive those docs. YEAH! VERY GOOD. It was literally one week to the day I sent the I-864 packet that I know that nothing further is needed for the I-864. YEAH YEAH! NICE DEAL.

Anyway, so what do you think they would ask her at the interview? With my husband it was easy to know, but with a minor who is 16, not sure??? Any ideas? Do you think they will let me in since I am the sponsor and her dad? She is a minor so she can't go in by herself. Im not sure.

Yeah! Almost there! I would think they aren't going to be too hard on her. Just ask a few questions about their relationship maybe. Also, it's my understanfing that you and your husband can go in, you as the petitioner and dad because she is a minor. I would imagine the interview will be pretty smooth. What a relief nothing else was needed!

Thanks :)

Time to vent, NVC has approval since 16th still not entered, seems they could take the workers working on illegals ""Work permits"" to work on getting legitimate petitions entered faster!!! Or shut down the dissiformation call center and have them enter cases instead!! Ill save time and just say REST OF POST REMOVED BY MODERATORS. Sorry for the vent!

Yes a huge relief! Yeah I wouldnt think too much, but just curious. Hows your things going? To get it all sent back in or still translating?

Just arrived home! Will pick up the translation in the morning and send off the needed docs to get this completed. Hopefully, complete by next week. Another person from DR who completed July 19 got interview for Sept 10. Looks like we might be about 3 weeks behind them so late Sept or early October?

Well at least you have a timeline. MAN I know how hard it is to come home without the boo boo. Everytime I left my step daughter her and I cry n cry. Very hard and emotional.
