4 weeks might be pushing it. But I will pray for you! i got my number on june 27th, got my AOS bill on july 9th. paid that day, marked paid the next day. Got my IV bill on July 13th paid that day, still marked in progress. Will send in all AOS and IV paperwork today. Did you send your DS 3032 in yet? You don't need to wait for them to request it. That will speed things up! Do you know how long its taking ince case is complete to get an interview scheduled in Jamaica? Some are saying as little as 2 weeks in the DR. I can only hope but not banking on it. Good luck. We are getting closer!

No I haven't. I dont need to wait? How do I go about that? I thought I had to wait for the I864 bill to be drafted before I can do that?

Im not sure how long it takes to get things scheduled in Jamaica. Do you know of a place I could look?

Oh boy so much to learn.

I got my case # and INN # on June 27th a thursday and emailed the DS 3032 on Juky 2 the following Monday. i didnt get the DS request with the AOS bill until July 9th and on Juky 10 or 11 I got an email accepting the DS3032 that I emailed on July 2. Now, If I had waited to get the request, I would have been about two weeks behind where I am now. I have paid both bills and mailed both packets as of today. So, 20 calendar days (12 business days)from NVC # to completed and mailed packets. now NVC must receive it (wednesday) and register it and then schedule the interview. I have heard that DR is scheduling in as few as 2 weeks. I am trying not to get excited. my thoughts to you is read the Lingche short cut on this site. It was so helpful in doing things quickly. Biggest thung is to call and make sure you ask for the case # that starts with first three letters of embassy and the invoice ID #. then you can stalk the payment site! Lol

Interview possibly scheduled in 2 weeks after case complete - that's really exciting! Your daughter has a good chance to make it before the start of the school year. Here's hoping the USCIS winds are blowing your way :star:

NVC said cases received but 'no info on file' yet. Don't know if that means anything at all. Will call again tomorrow.

When NVC recieves the case they enter something in the system you could call a pointer to your case, but they also need to enter to their system everything they need to know about the case(names, address, phones, civil documents, etc). If they have recieve the case an made that pointer i think probably they are going to fill all the info soon, and then they can assign a case # and other info.

I tried to login to the fee payment site, cant login right now, so that means they are working on making those fees available :D

No barcode needed to send DS 3032. Search the Lingche shortcut website. There is a link on that link for the payment site. Try this link https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx

But you will need your inn # just go to NVC website and get DS 3032. Print it, fill it out and have your husband sign it as your daughter is a minor, she is under 16 right? They scan and email it from your husbands email. Probably its best to use your address in US, less likely to get lost.

Thanks beejay! I hope the two weeks is right but I know better being that this is my second process but one can dream! Lol she is only 3 so, i am not so worried about her being here to start school as much as I am down here visiting her on my vacation for the month of july and I hate to tell her again, you can't come home with us yet. Also, i am on vacation now but come Aug 6, I am back at work and would mean time off from work to come back for interview and visa! But of course, I will. I want her here with us!! Wishing you all godspeed

Jamaicagyaldat:

ok so you call NVC and get your NVC# and ID invoice number. this info is need it to login in the website. This website provide a way to pay the AOS fee and the visa fee online when they are generated. usually the visa fee is generated after they recieve the DS-3032 and process it. The AOS fee is usually generated at the same time the DS-3032 is generated(not so sure about it). NVC should be able to tell you if the DS-3032 has been generate. Then you should send the email, or form to choose agent

Glad you found it. You may still choose to use your address in the states, as it might be more reliable but not sure what the mail is like between US and Jaimaca

Yes, I absolutely did. They have no mail service just a po box of the perish (county).

Here's my checklist:

I-864, have w2's, have tax returns, employment letter, pay stubs, and I-864 filled out.

Then IV package, I have her copy of the passport page, 2 passport pics, police certificate

Ds-230 filled out, Stepdaughter should sign section 1, but not section 2.

I need coversheets yet for both.

Did I miss anything? I think I got it all.

I have the NVC number and IIN number. Logged in and no fee yet available to pay.

You guys absolutely saved me! thanks so much!

Don't forget her original BC and a copy. You will get the AOS bill first. Sometimes you can actually have paid it before you get the bill so keep checking the website. Also, when you get a weird error message on the website, don't worry just keep signing on because usually that means they are updating it; either initiating the bill or marking it paid. Did you send the DS3032? You should get the bill for the IV a day or so after that has been accepted. You should get an email accepting the DS3032 about 7-10 days after you email. It's gonna move fast now! Then of course we wait again while they complete the case and schedule the interview! Hurry up and wait! Lol

Oh and the cover sheets can be printed after you have paid each bill. You will see a place where you can email yourself a copy of the receipt of payment as well as the barcoded cover sheet.

That's promising. Hope you can get your payment posted soon. How long is El Salvador taking to schedule interviews?

You and luvwtrNamy are going to end up being our NVC experts :star:
