Nice!! Does your letter say it will take 30 days for a case number? I've been reading that NVC has been averaging 3-4 weeks to assign case numbers lately and that it's not even worth it to call until 2 weeks after the receipt notice. There's a spreadsheet somewhere around here with NVC processing times. I'll have to find it and post the link.

PSDAVID - How long did it take for your to get a case number from NVC after getting approved at your service center?

Thanks Lucy4!

Kazulie - I will try but NVC is starting to seem like the bottleneck that's going to slow everyone down and put an end to this 'flying'. :hehe:

We actually got email and text, letter will be a few days though from what i read looks like most folks are at NVC within a week of recieving postal NOA2.

Here's the spreadsheet by Saylin. You have to scroll all the way to the bottom for people currently at NVC.

That data seems to match luvwtrNamy's timeline for NVC right now.

jimnela - Are you seeing people get case numbers within a week of their NOA2's? Hopefully that's the case and I'm just misreading the spreadsheet.

Yes I looked at spreadsheet too. We received notice on 6.6 that step-daughter approved from USCIS. Then I dont know last week they NVC said they had it but not in pc. I called again today, they said 2-4 weeks. I was hoping to get her here for school by sept. I mean seriously why does this take so long? Totally frustrating!

Jimnlena - Let's just hope we catch them on the upswing and that we'll get case numbers sooner rather than later.

Jamaicagyaldat - You've been waiting since 6/6 and still no case number? I don't know how long it takes for interview schedules in Jamaica but if NVC can get their butt in gear and get you your case number it still might be a reasonable goal. Let's hope you hear soon.

Thanks gdalicia :)

4 weeks might be pushing it. But I will pray for you! i got my number on june 27th, got my AOS bill on july 9th. paid that day, marked paid the next day. Got my IV bill on July 13th paid that day, still marked in progress. Will send in all AOS and IV paperwork today. Did you send your DS 3032 in yet? You don't need to wait for them to request it. That will speed things up! Do you know how long its taking ince case is complete to get an interview scheduled in Jamaica? Some are saying as little as 2 weeks in the DR. I can only hope but not banking on it. Good luck. We are getting closer!
