i would suggest a trip to INDIA ASAP. That would be the biggest proof that this thing is real. Get an appointment with American CO in India and show them your proof in person.

Sundancer take this heed and get over there ASAP before ur case gets set back to USCIS.

And really take your emotions out and think like a CO and really examine your friends on Facebook your conversations. Hunni you would be surprised what folk say on Facebook (shock). I had a "friend" who was posting all on his wall I was his girl and giving me daily declarations. Look how you talk to men do you use words like I did "Babe. Hunni and sweetie" as terms of endearment.

They saw something that makes them think you were married and the little time together will not work in high fraud countries.

Yes gird yourself up and get what you need to do the battle and show the proof you need.

I pray you have a good lawyer that knows how to handle your embassy. This is no time for a novice to cut their teeth.

Heard something like this from a friend...however after the CO wouldn't change their mind at all. He then took out a paper that he typed up stating he wants to renounce his Citizenship, the CO looked at him for awhile and just approved the visa. He had pen in hand waiting to sign the paper and hand it in, and I know he would of because he is just that foolish or madly in love at the time. I hope all goes well for you!

I don't think there's a country/embassy that even blinks at older man younger woman no matter how much the difference. It's just not that big a thing to the world. Even us raise an eyebrow when we say "53 year old woman with 4 grand kids married to 32 year old guy". It's the world we live in.

sachinky hit the nail on the head. Obviously, that does not mean you all are perpetrating fraud or that he's using you....but, you guys have the exact same history [the visit length, the meeting online, the age difference] that is seen time and again in fraud cases.

The #1 thing you can do to overcome this is more face to face time. Get back on that plane and spend as much time in person as physically possible. More trips rank higher than long trips if getting large blocks of time off is a problem.

An attorney can't help in this situation. Depending on your congressperson's staff or senators' staff - again, you may not get much help.

You need to take a step back and look at how your case would look to a suspicious third party because a CO isn't going to spend the time to read through 3 years of emails or 3000 pages of chats or 200 skype screen shots of you making kissy faces at each other.

--Facebook meeting. yep That’s how we meet 2 years 9 monthsago)

--Spent merely 10 days in person. (spent6 ½ months together in Nigeria. We courted after I got there 6 weeks before wemarried. Then I stayed another

4 ½ months

--Female petitioner is 38. With a child from a previous marriage. (Female petitioner is 53 with a daughterfrom previous relationship. Never married)

--Male beneficiary is 24 from India. Malebeneficiary is 32 from Nigeria never married

So see you are not alone. You can’t change the pass butgoing forward you need more face time. You and I are dealing with high fraudcountries a marriage license and a “we love each other letter of intent” justwon’t fly. Too many went before us andpath the way to a difficult time. But it can and will be overcome.

The more face time together the less age is an issue. For Nigeria the age gap is alot about “child-bearing years”. Show that you can and will have children (if that’syour desire). A friend of mine showed doctors reports of fertility treatmentshe was taking to prepare herself for when she has her husband here they willconceive.

Also why did they stress so much he paid you? Did he presentany receipts of money going to you? However small it was? I ask because even ifa beneficiary has money them sending you money whether they be the man or womanlooks like they are paying you. You the petitioner can send money and it seemsnatural (just not too much). So just get your ducks in a row. I am rooted foryou girl.

I don't know how many times you met him and for how long, but electronic relationship is not enough proof of a genuine relationship.I saw several couple here that met once or twice, got married and their visa were denied.I am not surprised at all with the outcome.I don't think the age is a big deal at all, but to meet someone once or twice for just a few days generally are a big red flag to the Consulates. Good luck.

I would really encourage everyone who is worried about Facebook to go and fix your privacy settings. It is possible to make your account unviewable unless a person has your exact user name and password. Or, to manage what people see. It's not necessarily true that if someone has your first and last name that they can find your Facebook account.

Also, I would equally encourage people who are in situations where their passwords might be requested (and who feel they can't refuse this request) to go through their accounts and delete everything that they do not want to be public information.

Our social networking accounts, no matter how private they may feel, should be considered to be public information.

If I can offer anyone help in customizing their privacy settings, please feel free to send me a message.

15 years and they think THAT is a big age difference???? what a bunch of morons. they say u can be his mother because of course in the eyes of americans is normal to have a baby at 15. dont give them a break and fight with whatever u have. i made my facebook public when i was in the k1 process just because they could see i have nothing to hide, but in this case that was just messed up

They call you a cougar when you have money and you date younger men. When you have no money and date younger men they call it robing the cradle. It is easier to date younger men from another country wanting to come to the U.S. This is the way they think.

Frankly, I am shocked that you are so shocked at this outcome.

She also mentioned that she paid all his fees?
