Expiry date on Employment Auth. Card

I married a U.S. Citizen in December 2010. I obtained my Permanent Resident Card with an expiry date of 06/27/13. I am aware that I must apply for Lifting Of Conditions before that date. My Employment Authorization Card however has an expiry date of 06/09/12. Is this a mistake I failed to notice? I've been working here almost a year now and don't want to be forced to stop because of this expiry date. Am I misunderstanding something here??

Yep, your GC gives you the right to work and travel by itself, and your EAD and AP were rendered invalid once your GC was approved. They are meant to be stop-gap measures only.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Operator: you are correct. The GC, once it is made, supercedes and replaces both the EAD and any AP documents you may have had. The EAD's expiry date is no longer even slightly relevant once you have a GC in hand. The GC's expiry date is now what matters, and it will be superceded by the extension letter when you file for RoC, which will in turn be superceded by your 10-year GC when you get it.

DON'T PANIC

You should have updated your I-9 with your employer once you got your GC.
