I noticed this morning this sites est.. timeline has changed in my favor i am pleased hope it keeps going my way but on other hand how often does VJ timelines change in profiles? and what/how is it changed

Don't get too excited, it is not accurate. My K1 petition is at the CSC and yesterday it saif they were working on November 24, 2011 NOA1 dates and now today it is November 22, 2011.

01/26/12 - NOA1 received and processing at Vermont.

06/28/12 - NOA2 announced on status check.

06/29/12 - NVC received case learned on 07/2/12.

06/30/12 - Hard copy NOA2 received.

07/09/12 - NVC Casefile Number and IIN Issued.

07/16/12 - Receive and Sent DS-3032 via email.

07/17/12 - Mailed DS-3032 via mail, AOS bill received via email, paid online, Optin email sent.

07/18/12 - Optin accepted and new case number, AOS marked paid, emailed AOS packet.

07/24/12 - Assigned as Agent, IV Fee bill received via email, paid online.

07/25/12 - IV Fee marked paid, emailed IV packet.

07/31/12 - Emailed GZO Supplemental Packet 3.

08/02/12 - Case completed and commenced final review.

I do no tknow the exact details of how VJ does it and how often but it is baed on the input of VJ members. This means if your timeline has moved in "your favor" that recent input has shown the average wait time has decreased. The good news is that it is based on actual results. The bad news is that it is a very small sample. It can change back to a longer time depending on what else is put in. Some of these people you see here that have been waiting a long time will get approved tomorrow, for example, and that will move your timeline back...even though their case has nothing to do with yours. There could also be members that have not updated their timelines and that alone could change it drastically. It is an imperfect science to be sure. VJ tries to offer the members a service and they do well at that but it is only as good as the input, and even then it is an educated guess.

No timelines are accurate, VJs may be better than USCIS's.

i went to the USCIS site and played around with the numbers in my case. I found some cases from Dec that are still at NOA1 level

But i filed a i-130 not sure if the I-129f is in the same time. also very soon the USCIS should be posting the updates waiting times
