I864 Vs I864 EZ

I am searching something and found out that I864 EZ is short form of AOS.

Did anyone of you use it?

You may use Form I-864EZ IF ALL the following conditions apply:

1. You are the person who filed or is filing the Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, for a relative being sponsored;

2. The relative you are sponsoring is the only person listed on the Form I-130 petition;

3. The income you are using to qualify is based entirely on your salary or pension and is shown on one or more Forms W-2 provided by your employer(s) or former employer(s).

can you please explain third condition of the form.

We used it. Condition 3 means that you are earning enough from your salary to cover the required amount without having to use assets, and this can be seen from your W2.

can you please explain third condition of the form.

It means that the sponsor is relying solely on his/her documented payments from his/her employer(s) to meet the 125% poverty level necessary to meet the I-864 obligations. The sponsor is not counting other income (business income, rental income, income from the sale of stocks and bonds, interest income, etc.) or assets.

In short, item three means the sponsor qualifies based on "employee" income. The self employed cannot use this form. Any potential sponsor who would qualify to use this form knows what a W2 is.
