Dear visa journey family

So yesterday my fiance went and applied for his SSN. And we were told that it will arrive within 2 weeks.

Now my question is when can he apply for a drivers licence here in Arizona?

Can K1 visa holder apply for US driving license before getting married OR better to do so after married and have the green card?

Thank you.

You can Google State of Arizona license requirements or stop into a DMV to ask. You should be able to get your license once you have a social security number and it isn't required to wait until you have a greencard, but check with your local office to find out the restrictions there.

He needs two forms of ID. License will be issued for length of visa or he can wait to have G Card for longer duration. Have him practice the parking manuver because thats where many fail the driving test. Observe what goes on in the test area, then go back after hours to practice.
