Hi guys! I just had some quick questions.

When we applied for my hubby's visa we set it up through my parents address in CA. However when we arrived we decided to come to WA and stay with my grandparents for a while since my parents were moving and we were going to wait for them to settle in to their new digs. Well my grandparents' health is slowly failing so we just decided to just stay put and help them, so I filed for a change of address. Do I need to add somewhere on the form that we "moved" since we filed with the CA address? Or just list the WA address?

The other question, due to the fact that we've been living with relatives, we don't have any bills to pay, we don't own any cars or property either.

So for evidence I have:

  • joint bank account
  • family plan for cell phone
  • temp life insurance
  • joint tax filing
  • photos
  • train and plane tickets from travel
  • and mail

Will all this be good enough?

Lastly! Do they take cashier's checks? I do not have any personal checks.

Thanks for any feedback!

you need to go here to update your address:

https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=coa

you can always include copies of your driver's license listing the same address too.

I've already changed my addy, but we never lived at that address since we arrived back in the states so I was wondering if I need to list it or not? Or just attach a note explaining why I changed it. Or if it matters that much.
