After submitting my DS-260 how long does it take to hear from NVC?!? My case is an MEP

You don't hear from NVC about your DS-260.

Have you submitted the other two packages yet, the AOS and IV?

You should be getting a case complete then either this week or early next week.

And please only hit the submit button once. I noticed you created the same topic twice, and you responded three times just now above.

Oh okay well after getting a case complete then I get an appointment?

And I'm sorry I'm new to this.

Yes, after a case is completed, the case is put into queue for an interview date to be scheduled. The time for this though varies by consulate/embassy. Some people find out within a few days, others have to wait a few weeks.

Oh okay thank you! Do you have any idea how long is taking at Ciudad Juarez to receive an appointment after getting the case complete?

Just a few weeks I believe, with the actual interview being just a few weeks after it's assigned.

Okay. Well thank you very much for you help this calmed me down a bit more. I just can't wait to go back home.

You're welcome ^_^

If you're approved at the interview and move soon after you get the visa, then you should be back in the US by the end of this summer.

Well hopefully I will get approved but okay does matter if im under 21 and married?

Shouldn't be a problem as long as everything is in order. I was only 22 when I went through the interview and had zero problems.

Well that's good to hear! :) I was talking to my attorney and she said my case should be a little bit faster than most cases cause mine was an MEP case? Whats MEP?
