AP is true in what feels like 99% of the cases for MENA men. Also, if he does get approved, your guy could have a long wait in AP, too. Some are as little as two weeks, others more than a year. It all depends.

I'd say that your attitude in this process should always be, ”hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.”

Yeah most if not all MENA males get AP. Sometimes it's not too bad and sometimes it's really long. Hopefully yours isn't too bad. And not to make you worry but some people even get a denial so that's something to consider. I haven't heard too many of those out of Amman over the years though.
