thank goodness, the visa is approved and delivered. the cenomar hold up added exactly 12 days time total (3 days for the Manila NSO branch to file and send it to Pasay for courier pickup and 8 days for the CO to finally approve). Not bad. My wife did the CFO thing last year but now apparently has to go back and get some kind of sticker. Now that I have the visa, I can actually laugh at stuff like that again....

Congratulation!!! All Done once the CFO sticker is placed in the passport. BOOK THAT TICKET!!!

Last thing make sure all airport taxes are included in the ticket price. If it is not, she will need to pay P1,620 at the airport. This is the Filipino Travel Tax imposed on all Filipino immigrating overseas.

God Does for those who do for themselves..!!

  • 2 weeks later...

Got the CFO stamp at the alternate location in Quezon (see below), much easier for those coming into the Cabao terminal from the north or NLEX. They just needed the passport with visa in it, a xerox copy of each and the oridinal seminar certificate (blue color). Basically a non-event. Probably the simplest yet silliest part of the entire ordeal. They also didn't ask for the IDS (immigrant data sheet) despite the web site stating it's needed (my wife simply pointed at it in the envelope). The jazz took 2 minutes. Am putting a FORK in this process, we're donesky! :) Thanks all for your help. Great site.
