OK I am such a nervous wreck, Harsh is on his way to Mumbai from Ahmedabad for his interview which is set for Thursday 7:30am. I don't think I am going to sleep til tomorrow night, until I hear from him. I am so worried that they will deny our visa due to the age difference. I have not told him how worried I am because I can't even imagine how worried and nervous he is and I don't want to make him more worried and nervous than he already is, which is alot!!Sorry I just had to vent as it is 2:30 am here and no one is awake I can call to vent to. LOL

What is your age difference? We are interviewing in Delhi on May 1st and have a 19 year age difference with me (the female USC) being older. I completely understand how nervous you must be and know I will be as well when our time comes. Meditate, drink some calming tea, send energy? That's about all you can do right now. Best of luck!

I wish both of you luck we had our interview yesterday and was denied. as she stated to finace she did not belive bonfied rel due to the fact when i went to meet him in perosn i was there only for a week. wich the reason for that was at the time my job would not give me more time off. and it has been almost a year and i have not been back. only becuse shortly after i returned the bussiness i worked for clsoed down. so i have not been finicley able to go back again wich he treid to explain this to her she did not want to hear it. also age diffrence wich he tried to tell her age was just a number, and said she did not care wt he had to say or docs he had to show her she refused to look at anything at all. it might also be he is from India and liveing in LOndon and this is where he intervied at. was not a good interview and got a 221g now we are up in the air of what we are going to do. but i would sugest if u have time make as many trips there as you can, take lots of pics togather, and save every doc of travel you have. including boaring passes stamps in pasport and even baggage tags. and if at all posiable go to interview with them. i think if i was able to make more trips to see him in this year and was also there with him at the interview it would of went better for us :( but was just not finicley able with the company i worked for had closed down. and not makeing the same kind of money i was making before. as the frist tirp i took alone cost around 3000.00 with flight and hottel and all good luck to all of u

I have similar situation but more age diff. American CO didnt even ask about age diff part, no offensive question. Seems like he was satisfied with our all doc and photos.

Make sure your guy, be confident, straight forward & truthful. In Mumbai Consulate, American CO seems nice to me, and they really want to work out for your case and give all possibility to grant the visa if everything looks on track.
