Interview time is finally here !!!

OMG OMG OMG !!!!!! I can't believe that after all this waiting and waiting and more waiting I finally have just a TINY bit of waiting left ! The time has come, tommorrow morning is my fiance's interview!!!.... my stomach is doing flip flops, I am feeling nervous, anxious, elated, excited, impatient, scared, worried, happy and stressed all rolled up into one.

We have all papers ready ...check

We have gone over possible interview questions...check

We have further discussed our future...check

Clothes is ironed...check

Cash in wallet...check

4 alarm clocks...check

Gasoline in the car...check

I think we are as ready for tomorrow as we can possibly be. I cannot be there with him pshysically, but I will be there in spirit. I am very confident in our relationship. I advised him to be confident, smile, be friendly and be honest. I hope that his interviewer can see right through him and see what we see!!!!

So, my only question now is, how in the world do I sleep tonight ????!!! :clock:

:crying: We were NOT denied, BUT we were NOT approved...yet :crying:

SO he got there this morning very early and totally prepared (or so we thought) and he was seen in under 2 hours. Unfortunetly the lady that saw him was soooo rude, she asked him for his papers and was just very rude and condescending the whole time and by the time she got to one of the last forms (DS156, i believe?) it had no barcode, it printed without a barcode and we tried a couple times and couldnt figure it out, so I thought maybe that is something they add there at the interview . I thought anyways that I had read that they could help him there if he could not print it out. So anyways, she basically THREW the papers back at him !! and said it has no barcode I will not do anything. She would not even explain anything to him, nothing ! Luckily, he got some help from a nicer lady at another window, and she explained to him, that it has to be printed from the computer WITH a barcode. Then she told him, wait lets set you up with another appt before you leave, she told him she didnt have anything until JULY !! :crying: BUT, she must have seen him really disappointed or who knows?? but he told me that she said Wait, let me see what I can do for you?? and she gave him an appt for April 30 !!!!!

He feels so bad, like he did something wrong and let me down, but ofcourse he did absolutely nothing wrong. I told him, we can be sad but we shouldn't get depressed, becaause its not lost hope, its just slowed us down a tiny bit. In any case, if he gets approved on April 30th, we can still make the May 17th flight that we were hoping for !!

Hey, we've been waiting almost 20 years to be together , whats an extra 12 more days for approval?? As long as we get it !!!

NOW, I jst have to figure out, how to print a form with barcode !!! Any suggestions ????

Awww, so sorry. But this is totally fixable. You just need to fill it online, entirely and print it from there... Also is better to do it on Internet Explorer... so try doing it on Explorer, it doesn't matter if you try once or twice or more than that. I printed mine like three times and present the last one, not a problem.

Unfortunately there are mean persons in the USEM, like if they were doing us a favor and we weren't paying for it. Most likely he was firstly interviewed by one of the peruvian ladies over there. They are the ones who gather all documentation. And they are all like with lemon in their mouths!! Lol. They can even show a smile or some teeth in their mouths...

Just make sure he has the 156 with the barcode next time, and all will be fine!
