My status on USCIS states :

On April 09, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application.

Does that mean I will receive my EAD card ? Am I approved? if so when should I expect it in the mail? thanks in advance

I know what it means... but the thing is it said on april 9th they ordered prduction of the card. But now they changed it to April 16th. I'm wondering why they keep on changing the dates instead of telling me that they shipped out the card already?

Because thats how the notification system works. You get 2-3 notices from them. Its always been broken like that.

Oh thank you so much for the reply. Do you know roughly how long I will receive my EAD card in the mail? and will I have to wait till it actually says I'm approve or card is being sent out... should I still worry? ... haiz

Sure you can worry if you want. The card will be with you by the middle of May whether you worry or not. If you don't see it by then, then you can worry some more! Relax, USCIS works at their own pace. They've said they're giving you the EAD and in what time frame, so just be patient, it will get there.
