hey everybody

after waiting over 7 months for my residence permit i got today the news and i would love for you guys to tell me what it means and my file was already trasfered to california center. 7 months from now so here is what i got after cheaking the imigration website

On April 17, 2012, we transferred this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to another office for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

can someone tell me what is mean as i already been transfor one ?

It's likely your file is being forwarded to your local office for interview. Wait until you get the letter and then you will know for sure.

That is the notice we received when our file was sent back from CSC to our local office for an interview. It happens. Sometimes you get transferred to CSC and think you won't get an interview, but then it gets transferred back and you get an interview after all. On the bright side, at least your case will move along faster now.

The reason I said the OP's situation is interview is because they stated 7 months ago they WERE transferred to CSC... you don't get transferred to CSC twice. You do get 2 letters within about 2 weeks of each other. One is the transfer, one is acknowledgement that it arrived at CSC.

To answer your question directly though:

On May 11, 2010, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

 Thanks you for the information, but in a case where the e-mail didn't specify that it has been sent to CSC rather it stated that to 'another office'. Does this indicate transfer to the local office?

Not always because they seem to have changed the wording. You'll know when you get the letter though :)
