You guys are too much... what about "to be opened by immigration only" is so hard to understand :-D

I have not seen my Lori face to face since november 04... after jumping through a thousand hoops I finally get the piece of paper that says we can be together.. what can i say.. i was over excited

So, now what is in that envelope....? I really want to know...

08/10/2009 - sent off I-751 to CA service center

08/16/2009 - check cashed

08/28/2009 - received NOA1

09/11/2009 - biometrics in Portland

03/30/2010 - done for the next 10 years.............

I believe that the envelope contains your original approved I-129F petition with all supporting documentation, the medical results, the police certificate, and possibly copies of the consular visa forms.

Abby (U.S.) and Ewen (Scotland): We laughed. We cried. Our witness didn't speak English. Happily married (finally), 27 December 2006.

Latest news: Green card received 16 April 2007. USCIS-free until 3 January 2009! Eligible to naturalize 3 April 2010.

I believe that the envelope contains your original approved I-129F petition with all supporting documentation, the medical results, the police certificate, and possibly copies of the consular visa forms.

And the I-134 with the tax returns.....when I entered the US, the officer at the POE went through all the papers in the envelope just to make sure the tax return was in there, as well....don't ask me why :unsure:

AOS timeline:

03/17/06 filed for AOS

03/28-06 touched

04/04/06 biometrics

04/05/06 touched

05/23/06 transfered to CSC

06/17/06 touched

08/16/06 touched

11/20/06 USCIS cust.service started inquiry about case (because it's outside of processing times)

11/30/06 approval e-mail

12/07/06 Greencard in the mail (= 8 months and 21 days for the entire AOS process)
