If the time frame passes and you still have not submitted the documents, they will deny your case based on insufficient proof and the possibility of you becoming a ward of the state.

yestarday i called DOS i asked them why my administrative processing

taking so long in my case then she say in one reason

it's taking because you lated 3 months ur AOS after ur interview .

friends is this true ?

my interview was march.10.2011. in my interview CO asked for jointsponsor. its taking 2 and half months to submated joinsponsor .

Depending on how long it took you to submit the joint sponsor papers it could take some time.. there was another member who submitted and it took nearly 3 more months after submission to get received and the papers accepted... then you have to await the outcome if you are in background checks. Im really sorry for such a long AP... im almost at the same place as you.. just 3 months behind. We had to submit a document as well and were able to do so quite quickly and it was accepted within a month after our interview... thats when the CO told us mandatory AP and namechecks so we are just waiting for this to complete. This process especially those of us going thru such long AP is heartbreaking and hard and painful... you try not to think about it and yet its always in the back of your mind. Hopefully they will finish you case soon... I would also call DOS back and see what else they can tell you.

Good luck
