Question about AP

My wife received her AP and she is planing on traveling back to Cambodia to attend her daughters interview May 7. We have her AOS interview on April 23rd but from what I understand it takes about 2 weeks to receive her GC she will fly out less then a week after our interview. So the question is will her AP (dates good til 3/29/2013) still be good to return home when we are approved or should I overnight her green card to her in Cambodia?

If she is approved at the interview, I would suggest you explain the travel plans to them and ask if they can put an I-551 stamp in her passport for her re-entry.

Agreed. And if she is not approved on the spot but approved between the interview and travel dates, schedule an Infopass and return to the USCIS and ask for the stamp. Once the green card is approved, AP is invalidated.
