I wouldn't bet the farm on a reflection that comes and goes over a few frames.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Yep, the cop initially was looking at reflection, the video is reflection, and the neighbors saw bandage reflection.

Also, the officer on the scene stated in the police report - "While I was in such close contact with Zimmerman, I could observe that his back appeared to be wet, as was covered in grass, as if he had been laying on his back on the ground. Zimmerman was also bleeding from the nose and the back of his head". Further on, "Zimmerman was placed in the rear of my police vehicle, and was given first aid by the SFD".

It's all smoke and mirrors.

Of course I don't conceal carry, so if I'm attacked by an unarmed teen who knows I may get my wish at a quick death or better yet years of therapy as I figure out how to chew again.

I don't carry a gun either. As a matter of fact I've never had a gun of any kind in my hands. I'm not brave enough to carry a gun and pull the trigger. As a female If I ever get attack by a male (adult or teen) armed or not I more likely will end up rape and kill. I have a teen daughter and sadly that might be her same final too. After all I'm seeing here with this case I rather be death than defense myself and end up in jail after the media destroy myself and my family. In this country it's better be victimized than defense yourself. Sadly.

It's a sign of the times and just goes to show how far this country has sunk. It wasn't always like this.

No offense but you have a very bizarre frame of mind.

You feel more sorry for the killer than the unarmed teenager with skittles and iced tea and that is what is "sad and pathetic."

If every fight between 15 to 30 year olds ended in a murder we'd see 50,000 murders a day in this country because one of the two people in the fight is apparently "defending his life from boo-boos." You radical right wing gun fanatics want to see that happen and that is demented.

India, gun buyback and steamroll.

We would see less fights for the fact people know they have a good chance of catching a bullet if they physically attack another human being.

But Zimmerman started the fight. You can't just chase down any person and not expect to catch a boo-boo or stub your toe.

Now if Zimmerman was approached by Martin and physically attacked then I could understand pulling out a weapon to take control of the situation. But that is not what happened.

So you are saying that Zimmerman made the first physical contact between the two correct? Because that's what "starting a fight" means. First one to make physical contact.

If folks read some of the precedent under the Florida, "stand your ground" law, you will learn you have great leeway. Linked here is a case where a guy saw someone trying to steal the radio from his truck. He chased the suspect for over a block and then stabbed him to death. The judge threw the case out citing the stand you ground law. The dead guy had an unopened pocket knife for a weapon.

Garcia case

Second case. A guy killed two people on a yacht because he thought they might be armed, and felt he was in imminent danger. Prosecutors were going for a first degree murder, death penalty case, until the judge threw the case out.

Look, I feel extremely sorry for the TWO families involved in this tragedy. And yes i do feel sad for both TV and GZ. BUT I also feel so scare for me and my daughter and husband and what will be our options if we get attack since we do not own and carry a gun. I do NOT know the facts and this case. I'm not going to hate, destroy, and declare guilty a person without knowing the facts more than those "facts" that the media is feeding us.

I'm thinking beyond this case and realizing that in this country, i repeat again it's better be victimized than defense yourself. don't you understand it's more serious that this Martin/Zimmerman case? It's scary.
