The I-129F was approved August 17th, but was touched today on 10/09/06!!!!!!!!! Message is same that the case has been approved, etc.

You know, I haven't checked the USCIS website in a while, but after reading your post, I did. And mine was touched on 10/09/06 as well! How strange

It could have to do with the fact the you both have interviews scheduled in a few weeks. Just a guess on my part, but one based on similar conditions involving your cases.

That's as good a guess as any, Libersolis! I just assumed that since USCIS hasn't actually had my petition in about 3 weeks, there wouldn't be any further touches on it.

Who knows really. I've learned that with these people the bizarre and unexplainable is par for the course, and probably more common than anything else.

It's great that your interview is so soon Tracy. I know you have been waiting a while and I look forward to hearing how things go!

I really think the only real good a touch can do is to let you know that your case wasn't accidently lost and that they do indeed know you still exist.

My I-130 was touched after weeks of approval as well. And now I-129F has been touched. But Thanks ALLAH the message is same, of approved.
