The thing is i just had another baby last month and we are confused as to how to go about filling for the new baby, do we fill a new petition or wait till the completion of my petition. Your assistance will be most appreciated.

Are you applying for a student visa or legal permanent residence?

Your husband does not need to file a new I-130 for your newborn. He can write to the NVC to add your baby to your case. DO IT BEFORE YOUR INTERVIEW.

Your husband will need to provide an original or certified copy of your child's birth certificate with a certified English translation to the NVC. The NVC will send him an immigration visa fee bill for the new baby. The baby will need his/her own DS-230, Immigration Visa Application.

Contact the NVC; http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3177.html

Search "add baby to petition" on this site and you will find many more cases like yours. You can learn a lot from the responses there.
