He called the military help line and requested expedite. We didn't send any letter. Calling them is the fastest way. Often they ask directly on the phone for you to fax the proof for expedite.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Ok I understand they told him to send a request when he telephoned and in addition to that he got a letter from his commander do you think this is sufficient?

Kind of depends on the reason, ours was deployment and we collected letter from command letter from first shirt and deployment paper copys with (blacked out private infos).

By the time he got it all it was already approved without us having to send it in though lol.

We did not expedite at USCIS but we did request it at NVC because he was leaving for a live training mission. As far as I know, a letter from the command and a copy of the orders is all that was needed. Our case was completed and our interview scheduled 10 days later. I have the following little blurb that was part of the email, I hope this helps:

Case #

Beneficiary: (DOB )

Petitioner: (DOB )

We have received and responded to checklist requests for information relating to the AOS packets submitted to the NVC. The AVR has updated to the checklist responses received by the NVC on 04/19/2010.

We are requesting an expedited review of the checklist responses and our packets. The petitioner is in the US Army and will be on a live training mission as of April 26, 2010. He will be uncontactable until May 30, 2010. He will not be able to respond to any requests should additional information be required by the NVC during this time.

We would like to ensure our cases are completed with the NVC in time for the May scheduling of interviews. Confirmation of his orders can be provided upon reqest. Any assistance or guidance with this would be appreciated.

OUR JOURNEY SO FAR: (dd/mm/yyyy)

18/09/09 - CR1 NOA1

16/07/10 - POE LAX (256 days NOA1 to interview)

27/09/10 - Aussie/American bun in the oven due May 10, 2011

06/01/11 - Submitted change of address online to USCIS. Mailed I-865 for sponsor. Neverending!

05/05/11 - Bouncing baby boy arrives

10/07/12 - Sent I-751

13/07/12 - I-751 NOA1
