So move to a city without unions !! Lots of them, in Texas... Just saying...

Meanwhile, back on point - ya, let's see what we can see, with the reports in the April 2012 NVC Thread on Monday, aye?

i would love to move to TX, but i am obligated to take care of my parents. they are chinese and only want to be around a chinese neighborhood. and they have arthritis. my duties are recycling (those living in nyc knows it is a pain!), opening cans, carrying shopping bags, amateur acupuncture, and sometimes cooking. it would be so grate to have a bigger home with guns, and a job dedicated to improving government performance.

I doubt we will see the average outcome in the april thread and hopefully it isn't a significant negative regression.

01/20/12 - I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox.

01/26/12 - NOA1 received and processing at Vermont.

06/28/12 - NOA2 announced on status check.

06/29/12 - NVC received case learned on 07/2/12.

06/30/12 - Hard copy NOA2 received.

07/09/12 - NVC Casefile Number and IIN Issued.

07/16/12 - Receive and Sent DS-3032 via email.

07/17/12 - Mailed DS-3032 via mail, AOS bill received via email, paid online, Optin email sent.

07/18/12 - Optin accepted and new case number, AOS marked paid, emailed AOS packet.

07/24/12 - Assigned as Agent, IV Fee bill received via email, paid online.

07/25/12 - IV Fee marked paid, emailed IV packet.

07/31/12 - Emailed GZO Supplemental Packet 3.

08/02/12 - Case completed and commenced final review.

08/03/12 - Shipped all copies of forms/letters/documents to my wife - arriving on 8/9/12.

08/06/12 - Case completed final review.

08/09/12 - Appointment letter received via email interview date set 9/6/12.

08/14/12 - Medical exam done.

08/15/12 - Medical exam results all normal.

09/06/12 - Submitted required documents at the embassy and interview set next day at 0730.

Actually they do not mention the surcharge on the site anymore. They have updated the prices to reflect the new changes and it shows up as only $230. Even the agents mentioned that it is $230 without

there are 120 Chinese Accupuncturists within a 12 mile radius of my house in Plano.

Can I do anything or just wait?

It has been 2 weeks after NOA2, but NVC has not received or created Case#...

During olden golden days, this had been done in 1 or 2 days time...

Hi dude,

I got my NOA2 on 27th March and still waiting for entry into NVC. NVC is very slow these days. I think We will hear good news this week. God bless us.

If you pay old fee which is $404, the excess amount will not be refunded...

It's not $230.

Earlier fee was $330 + surcharge $74 = $404

New fee is $230 + surcharge $74 = $304

There is no reduction in the surcharge.

I just paid IV fee this week for only $230 no more no less.

But no, case generation :-( How long for this? NVC operator says another 10 to 20 business days...

The new IV fee is definitely $230 now. There have been a few people who have gotten the new fees this past week.

You should be getting your case number this week. If you look at the NVC spreadsheet I still have going (linked below in my sig), NVC is currently generating case numbers for NOA2 dates from mid to late March.

I'm not sure you can send the DS-3032 by email until a case number has been assigned since NVC isn't ready for intake of documents for your case. Guess you'll find out soon when you get a response back in a few days.
