Please note that NVC IV Fee reduced to $230 effective 4/13/2012...

If you pay old fee which is $404, the excess amount will not be refunded...

CSC - I-130 for Parents (IR5)

10/11/2011 - Sent to Chicago Lockbox

10/13/2011 - Delivered at Chicago Lockbox

10/17/2011 - Email received with Receipt#, Routed to CSC

10/18/2011 - Cleared the checks $420*2

10/21/2011 - Received NOA1

Actually they do not mention the surcharge on the site anymore. They have updated the prices to reflect the new changes and it shows up as only $230. Even the agents mentioned that it is $230 without

When I spoke to the NVC last week they said there will no longer be the $74 surcharge. The fee will be $230. NO more surcharge.

It has been 2 weeks after NOA2, but NVC has not received or created Case#...

During olden golden days, this had been done in 1 or 2 days time...

I am still waiting for NVC Case# generation...

Online payment portal may be delayed to update or from Monday onwards...

It's not $230.

Earlier fee was $330 + surcharge $74 = $404

New fee is $230 + surcharge $74 = $304

There is no reduction in the surcharge.

It has been 2 weeks after NOA2, but NVC has not received or created Case#...

During olden golden days, this had been done in 1 or 2 days time...

we received NOA 2 last March 22, 2012 and until now we are still waiting, when my husband called NVC they say wait for 15 working days . . to get the case number .. we are still prayering . .

i remember when all my political science classmates were happy when the government announce that they going to bail the banking industry out. it was just me, my professor, and few others like - the money has to come from somewhere..

btw. i have a MPA degree with courses concentrated in performance management. the city doesn't want to hire me because i will make the unions work a little harder.

06/28/12 - NOA2 announced on status check.

07/16/12 - Receive and Sent DS-3032 via email.

07/17/12 - Mailed DS-3032 via mail, AOS bill received via email, paid online, Optin email sent.
