This guy is turning out to be one of our worst presidents yet.

I'm still voting Lyndon Johnson as the worst in living memory.

He along with his well pedigreed experts brought us the Great society, it grows larger and stronger each year.

We've had a lot of rotten presidents imo. LBJ, Nixon, Bush Jr. and now this one. Our choices of president in this country suck. We need a third party, not one so far left, and not one so far right...but a center party that actually cares about this country.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

That was an obvious possibility to those that researched his background back in 2007.

It comes as no surprise to those that could see right through this guy, he's a 'wolf in sheep's clothing.'

More like a lame duck in sheep's clothing :P

He certainly has done his share of damage, be it "duck" or "wolf."

Yeah I hear a lot of people who think a 3rd party is the answer.

If we had a viable 3rd party, it is very likely we would be electing presidents with just over a third of the popular vote.

Sounds like even more trouble to me.

However I do see a third party coming which plays right into that whole theory of mine that this country is -fracturing across many lines- as national unity is evaporating on just about every level and issue.

1/3 of the vote or not, it's still better imo than the choices we have now. The Republican party has lost most of it's respectability when schmucks like Trump were allowed to be a part of the party atmosphere. The Dems lost it with the Dream Act, Rev. Al, Hillary, and the rest of the sell outs. Both parties totally suck and have totally sold us out.

I don't agree, what has he done that he did not tell us about by his voting record or on the campaign trail?

The only semi surprise was taking out the leader of libya.

The anti-Big Gubm't crowd is all for it, that's for sure!

I am one of those and my solution is the implmentation of a crippling crushing TAX on any US employer that employs an illegal alien, mandatory E-verification This would eliminate a lot of the need for the "Gubm't" to check IDs and would help them to stop real criminals coming into the country rather than having to sort smugglers from roof nailers.

We should also eliminate all the gooblety-gppk on the I-9 form. SHOW ME A...

1. US Passport

2. US birth Certificate, with valid photo ID

3. Green card

4. EAD

5. Citizenship Certificate

Then do an E-verify of the SSN and thats it. Nothing else is acceptable. The employer keeps all these records and does the verification. He gets an acceptance number for each applicant and records it. We can do this for buying a gun, why not for a job which is ALSO a right restricted to US citizens and LPRs? Any one caught employing an undocumented worker gets TAXED $100,000 PER DAY PER WORKER, confiscate property to pay the tax. Padlock the door until the bill is paid. This would apply to ALL employers, even for their nanny or gardener.

It would work and therefore will not be implemented even though it would be done to protect illegal workers from abuses and exploitation.

I thought maybe we could trade them 1 "Occupy Wall Street" protester for each person they send us that us willing to work. Net -0- effect on our population.

Take this with a grain of salt, it is a campaign speech designed to get votes and money. Obama could not deliver on health care, has doubled the price of gasoline, cannot get a budget through congress, cannot close Gitmo, cannot deliver on environmental laws, did not deliver on immigration like he said.

Look, he won by a very small margin last time, certainly no landslide. Look around. Do you see any people that did NOT vote for Obama in 2008 that WILL vote for him now? Anyone? Any WOMEN that did not vote for him in 2008 but WILL vote for him in 2012?

Do you see anyone that DID vote for him in 2008 but will NOT vote for him now? How many would it take to change their mind? Oh. about 5%. THAT is what he is working with. If he loses 5% of the people that voted for him in 2008 he will be collecting his pension in 2013. He can lose that many just by no longer being the "first black guy to run for President"

That is his problem and THAT is what he is trying to address with this nonsense. He is having to convince all the people that voted for him before based on promises, to ignore the failure and vote for him again based on another promise.

Because he cannot run on his record. More devastating will be the Supreme Court death blow to the only thing he accomplished, a Healthcare bill that 2/3 of the people do not want.
