Wish I had something more positive to report, but I called Montreal and was told we are on a waiting list for an interview for January or February. I also received a reply to my email, which said an interview date has not yet been scheduled, but we'll receive a letter in 4 to 12 weeks. If it's February, this whole process will have taken 11 months, about twice as long as we originally imagined.

I-129f sent April 24, 06

My fiance emailed them this morning and they emailed him back saying that he is on the waiting list for an interview and it will probably be in dec or january.....I don't see how two people send the same question and get two different answers.....

You know, smallcan, it's a full moon tonight (or close to it). Which can only mean one thing. After telling us December or January or February, we'll probably get a letter soon saying the interview is in 3 weeks!

JG, are you pursuing the CR-1 through Montreal, or just sticking with the K3? The reason I'm wondering is because it seems like they've been scheduling CR-1 interviews faster than K3s. If your CR-1 is making it's way through the NVC maybe your husband will get it instead of the K3.

For anyone filing DCF.....

I sent my package 3 July 6th, 2006 and am waiting for an interview date. I called Montreal yesterday and my case was considered reviewed & complete July 14th. They say they are currently calling those for interviews with files considered complete in June.

They are so crazy there, you'll probably get an interview letter this week! I think that may just be their standard answer. I've got my fingers crossed for you.

hi everyone,

just wanted to let you all know that i called the montreal office and was finally able to get a date. my packet 3 had been received beginning of october but heard nothing from them. all my emails went without replies, every time i called i'd be waiting until it was 4 pm so i never got through anyone. today i did, and they said that i was apparently put on a waiting list and they just booked my interview date, which is now scheduled for jan 16, 2007. the operator said that i should be receiving the letter soon. hope this info helps all of you waiting in the room.

April 27, 07-Filed AOS, EAD and AP

May 14-received NOA with biometrics appt

Congrats. I think yours must be the first interview I have ever heard of (out of Montreal) that was confirmed months in advance like that. Did you get this date by being put on a waiting list? Strange that most people only get 3 weeks notice or so - good for you so that you can plan properly.

No, I didn't even know that I was put on a waiting list. I just wanted to know whether my packet 3 had been received and that's why I called. I told him that I had emailed a couple of times without getting a reply and he volunteered that information. He said that I had been on a waiting list and that they had just booked a date for me and that the letter will get to me soon. Hope it helps.
